DUET Counseling – Admissions Ranking
For each course, a ranking for DUET counselling is created. Candidates’ admission test scores are used to determine this. For undergraduate courses such as BSc (PE, HE&S), the average marks in the written exam and the trials are used to choose the ranking.
DUET Counseling – Course and College Allotment
Seats are allocated centrally for all entrance-based courses and are posted on the admission site. In the case of BElEd courses, applicants are assigned seats in each college under each entrance category in order of their rankings and preferences, subject to availability. Within the same admission category, candidates set to seats higher in their desired order will not be permitted to shift to centers lower in their preference order.
DUET Counselling 2022 -Rounds 1, 2 and 3
After each subsequent round of allocation, applicants who choose for re-allotment and those rated higher than the lowest admitted rank are given available seats from the previous round. If applicants are not assigned a seat based on their choices, this process is followed.
If a seat is available that is higher in the applicants’ choice, it is assigned to them, and the seat previously assigned in the previous DUET counselling rounds is canceled.
Candidates who have been assigned seats must complete the admission form, submit their papers for verification, pay the fees, and attend for re-allotment.
In future rounds of counselling, the following individuals are not considered.
Candidates who have already been assigned a position in their first choice
Those that have chosen not to participate in the re-allocation
Those whose names appeared on the provisional admission list but did not show up for document verification
Candidates who do not pay the fees to confirm their admission.
DUET Admission Procedure 2022
After admission to the fifth round, the admission site indicates the number of seats available in each institution. The test authority publishes a timetable of place allocation, in which applicants are summoned according to their rank. The schedule also includes the date, time, and location of DUET 2022 counselling.
Candidates who have been given admission but have chosen re-allocation are considered in the first round of place allotment under each category. They are summoned according to their rank to choose a seat from among those available, and allocation is made accordingly.
Applicants with a higher rank than the final chosen accepted candidates and who did not take admission during the online allocation rounds are considered in the second round.
According to their rankings, candidates who have not yet been assigned seats are contacted for DUET counselling 2022 in the following rounds.
